Biography
Ms. Nehru is an accomplished lawyer with many years of experience in the legal field. She has held various positions and worked in different areas of law. Her experiences include eight years working in court services with justices, lawyers, officers, court staff, and the public.
Ms. Nehru’s career has seen her in diverse roles across various courts. Her last year with the Ministry of Attorney General was spent in administration at Guelph Criminal Court. Before this, she gained four years of experience in family law, civil litigation, and divisional court at Brampton Court. Her journey also includes three years in criminal court in 2017 at Old City Hall, downtown Toronto.
Her experience as a court staff member and lawyer has provided her with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of procedural and statutory obligations. While working in the legal field, she has become thoroughly equipped to review documents, interpret legislation, and prepare orders as well as documents for court.
